3rd Annual Bulgarian Folklore Festival “Na Megdana”

October 13 – 14, 2017

The BMNECC is hosting its third annual Bulgarian Folk Festival – Na Megdana – which will focus exclusively on Bulgarian dance and music.We are happy to welcome Ambassador Tihomir Stoytchev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to the United States of America, to this year’s festival.

The 2017 festival will feature ensembles from around the U.S. and Canada:
“Verea” (Chicago, IL)
“Pendari” (Washington, DC)
“Bosilek” (New York, NY)
“Rodni Ritmi” (Orlando, FL)
“Sharenitsa” (St. Petersburg, FL)
“Otets Paisii” (Pittsburgh, PA)
“Danka” (Pittsburgh, PA)
“Shareni Chorapi” (Pittsburgh, PA)
The folklore concerts will be at West Mifflin Middle School (Address: 81 Commonwealth Ave, West Mifflin, PA 15122):

Friday, October 13 at 7:00 pm
Saturday, October 14 at 6:30 pm
Join us at BMNECC both nights at 9:30 pm for authentic, prepared-from-scratch Bulgarian food and live folklore music from the Vladimir Mollov Band. A cash bar will be available during both dinner parties.
Concert admission: $10
Dinner party admission: $15 (dinner available for purchase)
Dinner party admission + dinner + reserved seating: $30 (if available, limited number only)
